Welcome to oritone.co. These terms set out the basis on which you may use this website. They are deliberately short, because right now this site does one simple thing: it tells you about Oritone and helps you get in touch. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Oritone Pty Ltd (ACN 695 660 452, ABN 54 695 660 452) of 96 Byron Street, Bangalow NSW 2479, Australia ("Oritone", "we", "us"). You can contact us at team@oritone.co.

2. What this website is, and is not

This website provides general information about Oritone, our approach to tinnitus therapy, and the audiology clinics we work with. It also lets you contact us and subscribe to updates.

The website is not a medical device, does not deliver therapy, and does not create an account for you. Oritone therapy is currently provided only through trained audiologists, following a clinical assessment, under the clinic's own terms and care. Any future Oritone app or online service will have its own terms, which we will publish before it becomes available. Our clinic partner portal is governed by the written agreement between Oritone and each clinic, not by these terms.

3. Information, not medical advice

Nothing on this website is medical advice, and nothing on it is a diagnosis or a recommendation for you personally. Tinnitus has many possible causes, some of which need medical attention. If you have tinnitus, hearing loss, sudden changes in your hearing, or any other health concern, please see a qualified health professional. Do not delay or ignore professional advice because of something you have read here.

Where we describe clinical results, they reflect the experience of particular groups of patients under clinical supervision. They are not a promise of what any individual will experience. Whether Oritone therapy is suitable for you is a question only a qualified clinician can answer after assessing you.

4. Find a Clinic directory

Our Find a Clinic directory lists audiology clinics that have been trained to deliver Oritone therapy. Listing a clinic means we have trained them; it does not mean we supervise their practice, control their advice, pricing or availability, or accept responsibility for the care they provide. Each clinic is an independent practice, responsible for its own clinical decisions and for meeting its own professional obligations. Please confirm details directly with the clinic before relying on them.

5. Contact forms and updates

When you contact us or subscribe to updates, you agree to give us accurate information and to receive the communications you have asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Please do not send us health information about yourself or anyone else through the general contact form beyond what is needed to answer your enquiry. If you are a patient, the right place for your clinical information is your clinic.

6. Using the site responsibly

You may use this website for lawful, personal or professional purposes. You must not misuse it, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or our systems, introducing malicious code, scraping or harvesting content or contact details, interfering with the site's operation, or using it to send unsolicited messages. We may restrict access to the site if we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.

7. Our content

The content of this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, the Oritone name and brand, clinical materials and the way they are arranged, is owned by or licensed to Oritone and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or professional reference. You may not copy, republish, adapt, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the site without our written permission. Reasonable quotation with attribution for the purposes of criticism, review or reporting is welcome.

8. Third-party links and tools

The site may link to other websites, including clinic websites and professional bodies, and uses third-party tools such as analytics and form services. We do not control those sites or tools and are not responsible for their content or practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

9. Availability and changes

We try to keep the site accurate, current and available, but we do not promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted or free of viruses, or that information will always be complete or up to date. Our therapy, its availability, and any future products are subject to regulatory requirements and may change. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Oritone excludes all other liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, however caused. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or the cost of having it re-supplied.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be at oritone.co/terms with its effective date at the top, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
